You can either log into your fb account go to settings, and click on delete account, or you can contact facebook, and they will help you. Either way you can permenately remove your facebook account.

You need to log in, got to the Account tab on the top right, go to the help option, and ask
"How do I delete my account".
This will give you the option of deleting it temporarily, or to delete it PERMANENTLY, you have to follow their link "submit your request here". I cannot help any further.
Try in other computer or on a different browser and still if u cant login to face book,thats absolutely fine! both me and my friend have experienced this before.. i panicked at first because i thought my account had been deleted, but its fine, it can happen to anyone :) it basically means that facebooks being some maintenance issue, you're unable to access your account. It should definitely be working within the next day though! Best wishes x
You cannot create a new account if your current profile still exists. Facebook will match your name and other personal information to your old account and deny you the ability to create a new account. You must first delete your old account by contacting them. Why can you not access your old Facebook account?
