Just purchased a Samsung PL210 camera but it doesn't come with an instruction booklet regarding how to use different modes. Why not?

Use the "Backup" option in the card menu. Full instructions are in the "Copying pictures in the internal memory to the card (BACKUP)" section in the advanced manual (page 101 in my copy). If you've misplaced the manual, you can download one from

Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to locate a free manual for the 1235. However, I did locate a manual for the Filmosonic 1230 XL.
