Unfortunately, the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset does not have a replaceable battery, it is "hard wired". However the 510 headset does have a one year warranty, so Plantronics will replace it within the warranty period. If it's out of warranty, you can buy a replacement if you'd like or buy the newer version which is the Plantronics Voyager Pro+, which is just a newer, slimmer model and it also has newer technology (for the same cost). Here are the links below.

Here is the link to the Plantronics 510 replacement headset.

My Plantronics .Audio 995 wireless headphones refuse to charge with the cord provided me or any other one I substitute it for.

It sounds like the battery is dead in the headset. That headset has a non-replaceable battery. If the .Audio 995 is still under warranty you should have it replaced. I have included this link to the Plantronics .Audio 995 User's Guide.

I Have a Plantronics CS70 and it is not charging correctly or holding a charge. What can I do?

The battery is probably dying, if this is an old unit. Unfortunately the battery in the headset is not replaceable, but you can buy a replacement headset to work with the base unit. Here is a link where you can buy the replacement headset:

My charge light is blinking fast but not chargeing

First off, clean the battery and charger contacts on both the battery, charger and on the headset (you can use a qtip and alcohol). However, this sounds like the battery may not be holding the charge, or is partially shorted. Try replacing it and see if that fixes it.

When I plug the headset into the charger it blinks red and blue and won't hold a charge. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

You might have to check the adapter for charging voltage , if faulty you will need to check the wires, the adapter, if faulty replace.

If the adapter is fine and giving the right voltage then the battery within the unit is fault. you will need to open and check to confirm and replace.

Not holding the charge

From the information you have provided, the battery in the unit needs to be replaced. From past experience, I can only suggest that you replace the H500 Headset. When I need a new headset, I've always been able to find one on eBay for a fraction of the retail price. (Usually about $20 for nice one in a 'bulk' package - where the same unit in a retail package would cost $89.95)

The ones I purchase on eBay are new, they just don't have a retail box or instructions (sometimes). If you elect to use eBay, and don't get instructions with your new headset - just re-post here on FixYa requesting a link to the owners guide and we'll send you one ASAP!

If you found this information helpful, please give me a big thumbs-up when you rare my answer. Thanks!

My m2500 headset keeps hanging up during use. How do I fix ?

If the battery voltage drops, the call will disconnect. Try charging the headset to full charge, and see if that fixes the problem.

Be aware that the NiMh batteries in your M2500 may be at end-of-life, and won't hold a charge as they should. If so, it's time to go shopping, or else, time to start soldering!

Re; Plantroncs 330 headset. Seems to lose charge

Unfortunately the Plantronics Explorer 330 is an older Bluetooth headset and the internal battery is probably just wearing out. Take a look at the Plantronics M20 (see link below), it would be a good replacement headset.

I charged the BT350 using the Jabra Charging

I called Jabra Support and they are sending out another unit. The technician indicated that the battery is likely defective and is not field replaceable.

Thank you,
