Question about HP ProCurve M111 (J9389A) 802.11a/b/g Wireless Bridge
If you are using a ppoe connection then save your isp account user name/password in the modem weather it be a cable modem or a dsl modem and then setup and configure your access point device and SAVE your settings in the device.
if you using a dhcp connection from isp modems then just connect your access point device and setup amd configure your settings and SAVE them as well.
the only thing that i can think of is that you are not saving your settings and configurations. then when you you loose power the device reverts back to the default settings. also note that if there is some kind of "auto-configuartion" in the access point you may want to change that to manual configuration and create a new user name/password for your access point as well. please you MUST be hardwired connection when setting up the access point for the first time. please refer to the user guide for your access point for more detailed help on settings and configurations and how to save them in your device.
