I have searched extensively for spare but they are all marked out of stock or obsolete. You best bet is to call in a gas refrigeration engineer and see if there is a similar part that can be used. It needs to be something automatic.

First thing I would do is check this dometic site for recall information. Have model and serial number ready.

Your cooling unit is done, and will need replacement. I will urge you to take down model and serial number and go to their site, or call Dometic , ( www.dometicusa.com) 1-800-544-4881, and inquire whether your unit falls into the recall on some of those models. You may end up with a new cooling unit, free of charge.

Dometic recalled this model. Yoiu might need ot find out if your refrigerator is on the recall list.

Go to www.Dometic.com and look for the recall info...or try this link http://67.238.126.140/recall.php put in your model and serial number to see if yours if a recall...I believe it is and I have found the problems you are talking about at this website http://www.gasrefrigeration.net/Why%20they%20fail.htm. which is exactly why they are recalling this model refrigerator. Hope the links help...if not go to the first link and look for the recall page and you will be able to see if it applies to your rv refrigerator. Hope this helps!!!

I just saw where they have a recall on this model Dometic Refrigerator RM 2652. If you go to the www.Dometic.com and find the recall info you can type your Model and Serial Number into the boxes and see if your model is one of the ones recalled. Don't know if this link will work but try it first and it will bring you straight to that box I am talking about on their website. Its http://67.238.126.140/recall.php, if not go to the one above and find the recall information. Hope this helps.

Check the heater element for power.

I found that they rewired the 12 volt supply, red wire, thru a heat safety switch on the burner unit and it was open instead of being closed and cut off the main 12 volt supply to the control board. I connected a jumper wire around the new switch and the frig works . either the new switch is bad or too close to the heating unit.

are NOT interchangeable with any other models.
If you suspect mismatched part numbers, compare the part numbers on parts to the ones listed below
to ensure a proper match.
The RM2612 with Serial Number 41900000 or higher will have Version III controls as original
equipment.
The RM2812, RM2652 and RM2852 should have only Version Ill controls as original equipment.
