Hi there :Did you already tried another power cable ?also tried another power source ? Try also another device on the same power source.I hope this information will help you.
1. With the printer unplug, remove the ink cart to the right , 2. Plug in the printer 3 Press the POWER button and do not release the POWER button 4. Press the RESUME button twice in succession. 5. Now release the POWER button 6. Ppress the RESUME button 4 times.
The printer may beep. Unplugg the printer, reinstall ink and plug it back in. This should clear the issue.

Error code 5C00 refers to possible paper jam or product needs reset or service.
It is possible that a previous paper jam has left a piece of paper inside the machine. If you cannot see any paper jammed at either input area, open the rear cover and look in there. Otherwise, you can try to reset the product:
Reset the printer:
1. Turn the printer off with the Power button
2. Disconnect the data cable from the printer
3. Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. Attach data cable.
4. Turn the printer back on
If all of these suggestions fail, your MX700 may require repair service.
Solution: 1.Unplug the printer. 2.Remove the faulty Cartridge 3.Plug in the printer and press and hold power button 4.Keep it held down. Press Resume twice, and this should reset the fault.
