Nikon Coolpix 8800 Digital Camera Logo
Posted on Aug 25, 2011

Message in display says that the memory card is not formatted. I Have tried repeatedly to format. The results are the same with a new memory card. I have removed the battery for 24 hrs. but the card will not format. Nikon Service indicated that installed software is the latest version. Is this most likely a circuit board failure? If so what is the approximate cost of replacing circuit board in Nikon Cool Pix 8800?
