I do not think the software and drivers called 'image studio 7.3' for Clicksmart 420 is available for Vista. To check this, use the first and second matrices or charts on this Logitec Support page: http://logitech-en-emea.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3428/section/troubleshoot/crid/480/lt_product_id/3400/tabs/1,3,2,5/cl/gb,en/kw/ . You could download the software there and try Vista's 'Program Compatibility Wizard' to see if you can adjust things on Vista for it.
Unfortunately, Logitech has chosen not to support this camera under Windows Vista or Windows 7. Thus there are no current drivers for Win7. There is a way to install your camera if you have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate: install the XP mode (a virtual computer). Install the camera to the virtual computer. You may need to save the files to an external media to share them between the two "machines".
Download the software, and follow the instructions. Do NOT plug the camera in until it tells you to do so! This is CRUCIAL to the software installing correctly!
i dont think logitech have yet released a driver which makes the camera compatible with windows vista. I too have a clicksmart 310 and have been on the logitech website many times but they still have no drivers.
I can not install driver of ClickSmart 310 on Window Vista
