Remove the power cord from the wii. hold the power button in for 15 seconds.
plug the power back in. if the power light comes on check the color.
green is on, yellow is standby and red is totally off.
if there is a light press the power button and see if it turns on. if it does not then from a Wiimote, press and hold the power button on the remote. this should turn the console on. if the console does not turn on and the remote batteries are good you can try one more thing IF the light is on.
press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds on the system. disconnect power and replug. if you still cannot turn it on then your system is bricked or damaged and needs replacement.
in any case the power button is broken you can turn the console on and off from any remote
Locate the "reset" button on the front of the Wii console. Hold it down for a few seconds to reset the device.
Wait for the home screen to appear, then hold down the "power" button on the front of the Wii until the power light turns red and the Wii shuts down.
Unplug the Wii's power supply from the wall outlet or power strip.
Leave the Wii console unplugged for at least five minutes. Reconnect the power supply and press the power button to turn the Wii back on and complete the hard reset.
