Hi i have Fujitronic FA-1300 Dual Hose 13000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner the air comes out it not cold does it need gas?

Compressor has a problem internally.

From the condensing unit you can see two valves. Connect the blue hose to the bigger pipe sometimes marked "S" to the suction manifold gauge with the blue dial.The discharge valve "D" is the smaller pipe and connect it to the red hose going to the red dial gauge. After connecting the hoses respectively, open the blue handle of the manifold to release air from the blue hose and close it. The same thing should be done to the red handle valve of the manifold. Connect the yellow hose to your freon cylinder and slightly open the cylinder valve while connecting it to the middle of the gauge manifold. Now, there is no air from all hoses and you can start charging freon when the unit start running. Check suction pressure and the Rated Load Ampere of the unit

at the cost of what repairs mite cost yes get new on a new one is around $500 YES GET NEW ONE

Hi there. If unit just starts to get cold then the compressor shuts off and if the compressor comes back on after 3 to 5 minutes, the system has a freon leak or the compressor is over heating.
If you are technically inclined, search for leaks using soapy water at all tubing connections.
For overheating compressor: Clean the condenser with compressed air or vacuum cleaner. If still overheating, start switch or start capacitor may be bad.

sounds like the units compressor is shutting off. this could be caused by being low on freon, or a dirty condensor coil. the condensor coil is where the hor air exits the unit. make sure it is clean, free of lint/dirt. if it is clean, you will need to take it in to a repair shop and have the coolant leak found/repaired and then recharge the unit.
