It has wrong settings in the settings menu. Try changing it from the instruction manual

Wrong Disc

If the unit is showing "wrong disk" on every disk that you try to play, unfortunately, the unit has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. It can not be repaired. Our warranty is 90 days from the date of purchase. If you received the unit as a Xmas present, please call 1-800-727-3592 for instructions on getting the unit exchanged.

My coby dvd plaver keeps reading bad disk. I heard that it was the laser, then the spinning speed.I cleaned the laser and the speed is fine. I don't know what to do please help. I also consulted the manual and it said moisture could have built up inside, but I left it open overnight and that didn't work.
