You may have to remove proxy settings on your Internet browser. Or, remove the dial-up settings on your browser. The computer may not have received an IP address. Restart the computer or run the ?winipcfg? utility to dynamically assign the IP address (?ipconfig? for NT users), and then launch the browser.

I assume you're trying to access the unit with something like http://192.168.1.1 or whatever the default address is. And what happens then? A page-not-found error? Can't connect? The most likely causes for the problem are
The wireless adapter (or Ethernet adapter, if you're using that) on your computer is not set to obtain an automatic IP address and is not on the same IP network as the router
The router's IP address has been changed from what you are expecting
If you can ping the router but not connect to its web interface, your browser may be configured to use a proxy; that should be turned off when connecting directly to the router.
The IP address 192.168.0.1 you use with your browser is not to get into the Dlink WEB page, it is to get into the DLink router configuration, to set up the router and wireless security eg. network SSID, turn off SSID brocast, WEP/WAP encryption, MAC address filtering etc.
