Why can't I email a 1 and 1/2 min video. It totally freezes up my Outlook Express when I try to send it. It was a video taken with Kodak Easy share Camera. I have also tried emailing the video from the Kodak Easy Share program that I installed and it freezes there also. FYI- I can view all of the videos, just can't email them. Thank you for any help.

you should never even attempt to send such huge files, first of all that will take hours to send, and will most likely be rejected by the service, and as far as I know there is no email service that would allow to send such huge files, gmail, with the bigest storage I know, 7GB, has a 20MB limit on file sending.

You can't email that large file, burn it to a cd and mail it over.

First you have to make sure that the letters do have a basis, that is to view the contents of the file "Sent Items (1) .dbx" and "Sent Items (1) .bak". When you scan a document it must be scanned with OCR software. The default scanning method will scan a document as a picture, not a document with letters and words. The OCR software will recognize the letters and put the scanned document in the proper format to open it with MS Word. The software that you scan with should have a setting for OCR, read your instructions or help files to get the details if you can not find them very easy in the software you use for scanning. .

The problem with using Outlook may be that you have not set it up properly to get your emails from your email server. You do not need to use Outlook or Outlook express to send any documents, you can use your web based email server if you like, but you can use Outlook Express as well. You just need to add the document to send as an attachment to the email.

To set up Outlook Express to get your email, you must first find out what the POP3 and SMTP setting you must use. You can get that information from your email provider, it is different for every email provider. Then you go to the "File" menu at the top left of Outlook Express and select "Identities" and select "Add New Identity" and from there you will go thru a wizard to guide you thru the process of setting up your email client. I havent seen that problem with Outlook Express just with Microsoft Outlook. but this solution should work with outlook express to.
here how you solv it. you need to remove the outbox file manually. remember that all your outbox files gonna be deleted.
step by step.
1.close outlook express
2. go to C:\Documents and Settings\"your user name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\("alot of numbers here.->"{7850C6E6-099E-4EFD-A3F5-A88CA4FC6169}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\

* if you can find Local settings you need to show hidden files!
a. go to tools>folder options->view-> mark show hidden files and folders-> ok

3.in the map outlook express delete the outbox.dbx or move it somewhere.

4. try now to start the outlook express and the outbox should be empty.

you have been using outlook, but you should still have outlook express on the programmes menu, when you open outlook express up it will ask if you wish to make this programme your default email programme.
