You will need a thin putty knife. Run the drier to get it warm inside. Use the putty knife to slip under the paddles and lift them just enough to let the coins drop out when you rotate and raise the drum on that side.

How do I clean the lint from the dryer drum paddles?

They are connected to the drum which means you have to disassemble down to the drum and remove and clean. Its a major job so not sure you would want to tackle.

I HAVE A MAYTAG NEPTUNE GAS DRYER MODEL 3MDE3000AYE. ONE OF THE THREE PADDLES INSIDE THE DRUM CAME OFF. I AM TRYING TO REATTACH IT TO THE DRUM, BUT THE SCREWS HOLDING THE PADDLE ARE INSIDE THE DRUM.

unplug the dryer, open the door, remove the two screws holding the door on and remove the other two screws opposite them, take off the door and pull the front panel off, spin the drum until the baffle you are trying to repair is in the bottom right hand corner and you can get at it like that

When the drum gros around, it sounds as if a coin

Hi The noise you are hearing is coming from the baffles inside the drum. These are attatched to the drum with screws from the outside of the drum. Something as gotten inside these baffles and causing the moise.
Remove the front ot top panel (Depending on what model) and take the screws out so the baffle releases.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Inside paddle fell off

Depending on the type of door the dryer has, is how you approach the access of these dryers. Mostly though you yank out the filter first.Remove the 2 screws in the filter housing on top. Then use a putty knife to pop the top.Rotate the drum around and reach inside the drum. Re-attach that baffle.

My kenmore series dryer is making noise as it runs. It heats but makes a noise as if coins are in the dryer. I cannot see anything from inside the dryer, is there a way to remove the front face of the...

there's 2 basic ways to removing the front panel. First is 2 screws at the very bottom of the front panel, when removed the panel can be lifted and un-hinged from the top. The other is by using a flat screw driver and prying the top up at the edges on the front side the removing 2 screws or hex screws located inside the front panel toward the top. make sure you undo door swich wires before completely removing the front panel. then in the middle of the drum on the inside of it either 1-3 screws hold the drum to the back. Remove belt first then screws then pull drum straight out. The noise may be from your rear drum bearing or coins have gotten in the paddles of the drum(inside) paddles can be removed. I had coins in one of my paddles, made 60some cents lol at same time found perfctly round lint balls. Good Luck

Is there a schematic for the Kenmore Elite Oasis gas dryer model no. 110.7703*, 7704*? I think a coin or something got inside and it now makes a noise when in use. I cannot for the life of me figure out...

you can remove the lower acees panel ( 3 1/4 screws across the very bottom of unit, this will give you acess, to the insideto better pinpoint where noise is coming from, also across the top of the back of the unit is 3 screws holding down the top assy, by removing this youll be able to access the screws hodling on the inner drum paddles( incase the coin(s)), has gotten between there
