Tv fell and landed on the corner of my cocktail table. Now the screen(s) has a big gash in it. how much does it cost to fix it? Where do i go?

The tv CRT-(tv tube) screen itself is broken now or dying already and tv PCB board broken require replacing too,tv will still work after replacing PCB board or repairing it but tv will not be watchable becauuce tv screen will all mess up like screw up picture colors will have black and blue colors be all over the tv screen.Tv now will not be worth repairing if require replacing CRT-(tv tube) will cost the same as a new tv if tries replacing CRT-(tv tube) if u still can buy it.Can't buy analog CRT-(tv tube) anymore.Sorry time to buy a new tv.

Sorry this tv can't be repair the Plasma screen panel is dead.The Plasma screen crack causes the radiations leakages,that why tv screen can't sustance the radiations at all to be able to light up,even tv still have enough radiations to light the Plama screen internal screen menbrance will have a big cracks like a spider web or a huge shatter like a car windshield broken glasses within it safety plastic shield.The tv Plasma screen panel is 90% inportant functions to the tv,by replacing the Plasma screen panel,will cost the same as a new tv,sorry this tv now only worth as a salvage tv for it eclectronic boards for parts,that it.

if you're good at soldering, you can replace a few things on the monitor's main board. puffy capacitors (look like cans) especially. but before you do so, you'll need to discharge the crt tube by running the stored charge (up to 20,000 volts dc) straight to a ground source. it's a big deal and it's dangerous if done incorrectly, so you might want to leave it to the professionals. now might be a good time to change to a lcd monitor.

Most likely your not going to be able to fix it most of the cables are soldered on and you'll have to know where it goes so if it just snapped out then you'll have to take it to someone who can fix it for you because also opening the tv could damage it more

get a magnet and pass it on the tv screen while off, pass it from corner to corner slowly,
on all the screem

for sure the main board its broken and 80% chances that the picture tube has some internal damage that may can cause a rainbow effect, discoloration or color shadows. if you want it to try you can find the broke line traces on the main board , you can buy some tools at any radio shack store , and follow intructions . but its your bet to try the risk to have that picture disoloration and or learn some electronics
