Need a driver for a Fuji FinePix 3800 digital camera for Windows Vista
I have sent Fuji technical support this question. I was just hoping someone may have a solution. I did not see a driver download on their website for Windows Vista. Maybe my camera is just too outdated, lol.
Well, I found my own solution. Windows update was able to install a driver for the camera.Well, I found my own solution. Windows update was able to install a driver for the camera.

I solved this problem by letting windows install a driver for me. it works fine so far. I have used it as a web cam. I have not downloaded pictures yet though.

You shouldn't need ANY drivers. USB is native on both of these Operating Systems. Simply plug the camera into the computer and it should detect it without the installation of any drivers.
Try installing the software if it does not install then you need to contact fuji support and ask them if they have a software version that is supported on Vista
You do not need 'Drivers' for a camera to be read in a Windows computer With the Camera plugged in to the computer you shouild see the Camera/Scanner Wizard asking what to do work from there. If you are still in difficult invest in a USB Card reader.
Hey ar2by3, You could try restoring your computer back to a date when the drivers were working. I of course am assuming you have the driver disc that should have come with the camera. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
Pressing the “MENU/OK” button as you would to erases files. There is an option to format the xD-Picture Card. Formatting erases protected files, but allows you to then take photos.
