If you have admin privilages on your PC you can go to the configuration tab and click the auto config button and then confirm all the options are selected. If you don't have admin privilages then you will have to get your IT person to log in and do it.

HOW TO PUNCH HOLES

If your copier has a hole punch unit you should be able to go to output and select hole punch.

If you're trying to print with hole punch from your computer and you dont have the option, you need to configure your print driver. Check out the link below for instructions.

Canon hole punch

Go into the printer options settings on the PC and make sure the "punch" is enabled. Especially on Windows PCs, it's common that not all the options are communicated between a network printer and the computer.

Greyed out

If this is when you select this machine to print to, it may be because the print driver is not configured properly. Go to main driver under start, control panel, printer, right click on printer, select configuration, then auto configuration and select everything with a finger pointing to it. Then try again.

Hi, I have a Macbook running Tiger 10.4.11. I have yet to figure out a way to print in black and white from safari. HELP!

When you go to print (apple/p) and the dialog box comes up (lists printer, presets, copies, etc)
There should be a gray horizontal line across the middle of this dialog box. Note the drop down box that is on this gray line ... this is an important drop down box. When you select different items in this box, all the options underneath the gray line change.
The selection in this box is probably "Layout" by default. Change it to look at the different options, but as things change below the gray line don't get confused about which is the "main" selector drop down for changing all the options .. it's the one on the gray line ....
I'm using an HP printer, and when I select "Paper Type/Quality" in this drop down, I get an option under the gray line that says "color" -- the options in that box include the option for "Grayscale"
If I were to select Grayscale, then the printer will print only in black and white and shades of gray.
That's the easiest way to do what you want, and it will apply to any program you are printing from, since you are selecting "Grayscale" from the print dialog.

Look through all the different variables in the print dialog to become familiar with them.
If you often use one particular setting and don't want to have to go through the sometimes confusing search through the drop downs, since they change back to their defaults each time you print, then you can set a "Preset" - this will remember your settings and allow you to get to them easily ...
To do this, first select all the options the way you like them, for example you might select Grayscale under the Color option under the Print Quality section. Then, before you actually print anything, go the the top where it says "Presets" and do a "Save As" and choose a Preset name that will be meaningful to you ... like "grayscale" -
Next time you print, keep an eye on the preset - it may NOT go back to the default of "Standard." It may stay on the last-used Preset ... so keep an eye on it before hitting the print button.

Hope this helps!

The hole punch option is gone from the printer properties in windows. It was there now it's just gone for everyone.

Open up the printer properties and add under options the punch unit and any other missing options. Make sure to do this from the start menu button then printer and faxes then right click and pick properties ect.-Carl

Duplexing problem on Konica Minolta Bizhub C650

This is a software thing.  Usually if you use the hole punch in the finisher this doesn't happen.
Try putting the paper in the other direction and see if that fixes it.
If it doesn't fix the problem you will have to run one side at a time.

Thst is a hole punch home position sensor not detecting the 2 or 3 hole punch.
Try reseating the hole punch assembly then power the machine off and on.
