The pix and sound don't work

I just discovered an additional fix to this problem last night. I removed the hard drive from the PS3 and placed another harddrive in its place. This gave me a dialog box that stated the Operating System was corrupt and that I needed to install a software update. I downloaded the software update from Sony's website and placed it on a USB drive and place my old hard drive back into the system. After the update the PS3 came back to life. If you don't have an additional HD (hard drive) try just removing the hard drive and booting it up without it. Turn it off and put the HD back in place and the dialog should appear. Unfortunately you will lose all of the data saved on your HD unless you can back it up with a HD enclosure. I hope this helps and good luck.

    Problem with motu 2408mk3 installation

Go online and download the latest driver from motu. If youre on an INTEL mac, make sure you get the UNIVERSAL BINARY driver. If not, then reset the card, and launch your audio software, or go to system pref and then SOUND and see if you can select it as a I/O device.
