Hi
You don't say where you downloaded from.
Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs
Remove MS Office and MS Office Trial completely (including all components).
Don't worry, any documents you have already created will not be affected.
Resatart the computer.
Go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try
Download MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial and install again, carefully following each step.
If you do not wat to buy or cannot afford full MS Office, consider a free, comparable program -
Open Office - from:
www.openoffice.org.
You can use this simultaneously with MS Office Trial.
If you delete MS Office Trial before the 60 day expiry, and follow the above procedure, removing all components and restarting before downloading and installing, you can enter into a 2nd 60 Day trial period.
Hope this helps.
MS Word Starter 2010, MS Excel Starter 2010 and MS Office Starter 2010 now exist as 3 new standalone Microsoft products. MS Office Starter 2010 is an entry level application designed to repalce MS Works, the basic wordprocessing and desktop publishing package that used to be pre-installed on or, further back in time, bundled as free software with some new computers. MS Office Starter 2010 is a stripped down version of MS Office containing a basic word proceesing/desktop publishing application and time-limited, functionality-restricted elements of MS Word and MS Excel but not of Outlook or PowerPoint. It has many similarities to entry level MS Office Trial products except that, even in its pre-installed state, it has a perpetual, pre-activated licence. However, as with MS Office Trial products, MS Office Starter 2010 can have its full MS Word 2010 and MS Excel 2010 functionality activated by purchasing an activation code (product key). MS Office Starter 2010 was designed for users who cannot afford full MS Word, MS Excel Or MS Office or as an inducement to users who can afford it, to upgrade to more fully featured MS Office products. It is now being factory pre-installed on new computers as a free product. MS Word Starter 2010, MS Excel Starter 2010 and MS Office Starter 2010 are not available as standalone products either in CD or download format. The only genuine versions any user will ever see of these products are factory pre-installed versions on a computer. These new Microsoft products also seem to be (at least partially) aimed at clawing back some market share from the increasing encroachment of comparable, free, full Office Suite functionality, Open Source applications such as Open Office and the similar product LibreOffice, the full, genuine versions of which can both be freely downloaded from source by anyone. The cost of distributing MS Office Starter 2010, MS Word Starter 2010 and MS Excel 2010 as free products appears to have been offset by Microsoft making the product an extensive advertising platform. The advertising that features in these products cannot be disabled.

Hi,
Where did you downloaded the Office 2007, usually the downloads are only good for at least 60 days.
If you want to use permanently, you have to buy the license for it to use the full functionality.
Thank you for using Fixya. Your recommendation is highly appreciated for the free support.
