Scheduled Firewall Will scheduled Firewall, Virtual Server, or IP Filters, used for denying access to the Internet, stop active connections?

Unfortunately not. Active connections must be stopped before the rules take effect. For Example: If you have an active FTP download when the schedule takes effect, the session will not be terminated until the download is complete. Once the schedule is effective and the FTP download has completed, you will not be allowed to initiate another FTP connection until the scheduling permits.
