Does the fan run and just won't heat or is it completely dead. If the fan runs ok then look at the temperature dial. That is the thermostat. It could be bad. Next to check is the heating element itself to see if it isn't open. There's an inline safety device that may have opened too. It looks like a small silver cylinder with one end narrowing to a point. That usually goes first. Try googling Nesco parts to see if any parts are available.

fans are relatively straight forward to replace. Assuming you have already bought a replacement correct sized fan. Turn off PC first, remove graphics card, unplug the small white fans power plug from the graphics card. there will be a couple of small screws holding it down, take them out. the fan should just come off. put new fan on by doing the above steps in reverse.

this is an air circulation problelm. If the vents are clear, then check to see if the fan is blowing. If the fan is not working, it is a relatively easy repair to make. a few screws hold on the back panel that will expose the fan and you can get part numbers from the fan directly. Good luck.

It's very possible that the fan itself is bad - relatively common on VW's. First check the fuse for the fan on the fuse panel.
You could also have a fan control module problem. Can you hear/feel the compressor turn on? If so, then the module is good and you probably have a bad fan or a blown fuse.

The element is almost certainly burnt out .A replacement element is fare cheaper than a new cooker and relatively easy to fit
