The router's admin page is http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 and the default password should be either "admin" or "password" without quotes. There should be a choice under "Setup" called "Factory Reset". That will erase the settings and reset it like new.

Alternatively, you can follow the procedure as given below on all the brands I've tried (Belkin, D-Link, Linksys)

1. hold the reset button for 30 seconds (don't release)
2. unplug the power (still holding reset) for 10 seconds
3. plug power back in (still holding reset)
4. hold reset for another 30 seconds - the lights will usually begin flashing in some odd pattern
5. release the reset button
6. wait 1 full minute or until the lights stop flashing
7. unplug the power for 10 seconds, just to do a reboot
8. verify the settings (e.g. SSID) are back to the defaults

Feel free to get instant online D-Link router support at http://www.vtechsquad.com/wireless-router-support/ to fix D-Link router/wireless router issues.

The following reset procedure will completely restore the default settings on the VDI-604 and VDI-624. Note: If you do not remember your password, you will have to reset the router to factory defaults. Step 1 Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the unit. Step 2 With the unit powered on, press and hold the Reset button. Step 3 Hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds. Step 4 Release the Reset button. Step 5 The unit will reboot. Allow 20-30 seconds before reconnecting. Step 6 The device is now at factory defaults. Note: Do not recycle power during the reset procedure. VDI-604 firmware 1.05F/VDI-624 firmware 2.39DDM - The default username is admin and the default password is blank (nothing). VDI-604 firmware 1.07 Build 28/VDI-624 firmware 2.43 Build 12 - The default username is admin and the default password is password. Note: After resetting the router to factory defaults, you will need to contact Verizon to reconfigure your WAN settings.
