Opticon OPR3201: i want to replace the return with a comma

Perhaps contact Telkom for assistance. Those of us in the other part of the world don't have access to Telkom switchboards.

It happened to me once. I basically reboot the opticon. and upload the data to the opticon again. and problem solved.

Syntax is $( function,lower bound,upper bound) =
Press the Integral key. $(
Type in the function eg. sin
Type the variable: SHIFT ) to enter X
Type in a comma separator ,
Type in the lower bound of the integral
Type in a comma separator ,
Type in the upper bound
Close the right parenthesis )
Press = to get the result.
Note: You have to wait for the calculator to return with the answer. Some calculations may require time to perfor.

usually there are no settings as most computers see the barcode and crdit card scanners as keyboard/input devices. unless the manufacture has additional software and drivers the device is simply an input capture device.

It seems that this only has drivers for Windows XP, but you can try installing the XP drivers on windows 7.

Here is the link to download the drivers, make sure the scanner is not plugged in until after the drivers are installed. This may not work, but i have had to do this with other hardware and sometimes it does work.

The previous reply is for Opticon with an 'N' not 'Opticom' with an M and a different company, so not very helpful. I haven't found an online copy of the manual so far.
1. Lift up the handset.
2. Press the STO button (for 'Store')
3. Key in the full number you want to store, e.g. 01234 5678910
4. Press STO again
5. Press one of the numbers on the key pad that you want to be the Quickdial number, from 1 to 0.
6. Press the MEM (Memory) button.
7. Replace the handset in its cradle.
8. The Quickdial number will now be stored and you can call it by lifting the handset (or pressing the speakerphone button) and then pressing the MEM button followed by the single number you chose, e.g. MEM then 3.

Turn the calculator off. Press and hold down the decimal point while you press ON. The digit separator and radix sign will flip each time you do this.

The only manual they have is the Universal menu manual.

If you can't find the manual you need here, I suggest you contact their tech support guys and ask them to point you in the right direction.

get your manual and scan in the appropriate "host" option. You will have to scan in the "USB host" barcode. There may be more than one. Your scanner should be set to the HID usb Keyboard option.
