PT-47WX49E there is a blue wave coming up frpm the bottom of the screen on the lower left corner what could be causeing this and how can i fix it

I just changed the lamp bulb. Why do I get a blue screen on the I just changed the lamp bulb. Why do I see a blue screen on my Panasonic PT-43lc14. See photo. attached.

if convergence does not adjust in menu mode could be a defective convergenceic or fuse

There should of been a protective screen for this model. Here are some links to obtain original replacement screens from a major Panasonic distributor if needed:

Try Moving The Speaker You Have There Away From It?

if you have any speakers near the screen the magnet may be causing the problem. i had a similar thing happen & when i moved the speaker the problem went away

converge outputs getting tired or limiting resistors opening up. adjusting this incorrectly will make the situation worse keep in mind that overdriving these chips will cause a fold over of your image when you see this carefully adjust in the opisite direction as you may be overheating the outputs

Blue wave coming up frpm the bottom of the screen on the lower left symptom is for busted convergence IC,you must replaced this IC in order that will works better again.STK 392-xxx ICs and it's associated resistor,this resistor automatically change value,can caused truoble even though you change the ICs.If you bring this to a service center they cost you $600 to $700,but if you buy the repair kit you can save more,don't wory it is very easy because there is intallation guide including in the repair kit. your convergence IVs need to be replaced. Its an easy repair if you can solder. you can get the two ICs you need at the following link. they also provide free installation instructions and free on line tech support while youre doing the repair.
