SOURCE: Whirlpool Cabrio - How do I tell if my heating

If you are comfortable useing a volt meter and a ohm meter I can walk you throught the steps otherwise you need to call a repairman, If you are not getting any heat and the tumbler is turning it is possible the element is bad again only a test meter can tell for sure or you can take the dryer apart and look at the element to see if it is broken make sure the power is turned off at the breaker first also unplug the dryer.

SOURCE: Model WED6200SW0 cabrio dryer does not have

84d6194.jpgThis is the area that needs your attention. The heater is on bottom and held by 2 screws, remove it to look for breaks or check it for continuity. If the heater is good then one of those limits(probably the small one on top) has failed due to a blocked vent pipe. The bottom limit is 250f and the op is 300f. If the top is bad the bottom is bad too because it did not shut down. Now go impress someone Tiger. Oh and be sure to unplug the dryer before removing the rear cover. Rate the answer so in case I am wrong, someone else can have a shot. But i am never wrong.
