How do I set up the Wired or Wireless Gateway Router using a Macintosh computer?
You should go through steps 1 and 2 in the manual to collect important ISP information. Once you have collected all the required information simply plug your cable or DSL modem into the wan port on the Gateway Router and plug your Macintosh into any one of the numbered ports. Plug the Gateway Router into a power source. Your Ethernet LAN adapter should be set to get a DHCP address. Reboot your Mac and it should get an IP address in the range of 192.168.2.x. Now open a web browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator) and type in the address bar 192.168.2.1. Skip step #3 in the manual as it only applies to Windows computers. Now continue with step #4.
