Question about Belkin (F5D5230-4) Router

No, the router will do the connection for you. All you will need to do is open up your Internet browser and you will be able to connect to the Internet without having to use the connection icon from your DSL provider. If you are still unable to browse the Internet but the Router screen does say it is connected try restarting the computer.

Access the router's web-based setup page. For instructions, click here
NOTE: If you're using a Mac, click here for instructions.
On the Setup tab, click the drop-down arrow for Internet Connection Type then, select PPPoE.
Enter the Username and the Password for your DSL Internet connection.
Select Keep Alive.
Click Save Settings.
Click the Status tab.
Verify that the Connection Type is PPPoE then, click Connect.
