First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Download asoftech photo recovery software
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/
Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

My camera worked before by uploading pics onto the comp. Now it doesn't let me at all. I tried to upload tonight and first noticed the problem. So I restarted and got back on tried it again it worked but...

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Hi, I lost my cd for my camera. I have a new comp

I just logged onto the Argus site....
  1. Go to it here: http://www.arguscamera.com
  2. Drop down the Support Tab
  3. Choose Manuals/Drivers
  4. Choose Drivers / Discontinued Cameras / DC5150 and push the "GO" button.
You will automatically have the Drivers for your camera downloaded in the form of an "exe" file.
You can also do this to get the camera's manual. They also have a "Contact Us" area, where you can either call or e-mail any questions you have to them.
I hope this works!

Hi im trying to put pics from my camera to my comp all i get on the camera is busy i used it last week ..i got a virus my virus cleaner finally killed the virus but now i cant upload from my camera to the...

The best thing to transfer pics from camera to computer is not to transfer directly. Take out the memory card and load the pic through card reader. This is even faster and safer for your camera getting the virus. perhaps your camera is now virus infection but I just hope it's not. try it, that's what am doing.

Memory Card Error

You could take the card to a store that has a Kodak picture maker machine (Walmart, etc.). From there, you can print your pics or even make a cd of them. The card may be faulty or just may not work in Canon cameras.

Internal Memory

It is possible. Go in where you can see your pictures and then press menu. Go down to copy and press right arrow. Highlight internal to memory card and press set. Should copy them onto your memory card for ya. :)
