Color Adjustments How can you get into the menus to adjust the colors once you replace a CRT with a new one? There appears to be some type of serial connections for this. Is there an easy workaround.

JVC AV-27S33 only displays black and white (Color gone) Menus are still in color!

Check its color system adjustments. It will be best to make a factory reset to this set. Just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it after 10 minutes of so. This must make your TV a hard reset. If this do not help you, the chroma section circuits of your TV need to be checked for fault/s. This is a skilled work, and it will be best to contact any experienced service technician.

Projection is messing up. Too much red and blue color.

Hello,
A CRT projector requires Convergence and Color balance adjustments from time to time. These settings can drift. What you are seeing is a lack of Green color intensity. Do you see some pink in the 'whites'?
The Green CRT surface also burns off faster than the Red and Blue leaving behind the same appearance. As long as your Green CRT is not too burned by gaming or watching Golf and football, a local tv tech will be able to dial it in for you.

Samsung txh1970 tv screen has green tint

I encountered the same problem with a color computer monitor several years ago. Everything went green. The repair techies told me that's a sign that the power supply is going bad. You will not be able to adjust the color. You will have to either fix it or replace it. Hope this isn't a common problem with this model Samsung TV.

Color Problem after replaced Circut Board

When you replace the entire board in a Zenith TV, you must make the adjustments to align the new chassis with the old picture tube. You must adjust the CRT bias and drives as well as the horizontal and vertical parameters. On the older boards there were controls on the main and CRT boards but on the newer boards the adjustments are made with the remote control after entering the service mode. Tune in the shopping channel QVC, set the color and contrast to minimum and lower the brightness until the picture is just visible. Set the CRT bias settings for a pure black and white image, then increase the brightness and contrast to get a very bright picture and if necessary adjust the drive settings so that the bright picture is pure black and white. Return the video settings to normal and then adjust the vertical and horizontal settings so that the info boxes on QVC are centered top, left and bottom. If you are not sure that you can do that right then have a qualified tech handle it for you.

Color adjustment for CM 811U

Hi, if you are referring to the replacement of the picture tube, then yes, the color will have to be adjusted. However this should have been done by the tech personnel who did the replacment with a color bar generator and alignment tools. You can also try pressing the degauss button on the monitor to see if the color balances back. Hope this be of some help. Good luck

Color problems

First adjust the contrast level 25 percent. Now see there is any improvement. If the performance is well there is a problem in video section. May be capacitor leakage like 180v supply filter, and coupling capacitor in video section.
