Question about HP Bestec ATX-250-12ZD 250w HP Pavillion Zinfandel Power Supply Part 5187-1098 (ATX25012ZD) Power Supply
Computer won't boot up, the green light on the power supply on back of desktop just flashes.
The described problem might not be the Power Supply Unit, there are a number of different reasons that may cause this symptom. Consulting HP would be advisable.

I have the same problem. I found this on HP's website. Give it a shot. I hope this works for you (and me).

After power outage my compaq s6300nx did the same thing, I used the link the Guest left and it help alot, Turns out my vid card is to big and I need to upgrade power supply, thats the hard part seems as if compaq/hp would rather you just buy a new pc for hunfreds of $ instead of upgrading. I keep being told the power supplys for this model is proprietry, which means I have to keep using since HP doesnt sell a higher watt psu for this. So far I bought 3 different ones.
