The E000073-0001 error code on the Canon ImagePRESS C1 photocopier is related to a problem with the temperature sensor in the fuser unit. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve this issue:
Turn off the copier and unplug it from the power source. Allow it to cool down for a few minutes.
Check the fuser unit for any visible signs of damage, such as wear or burn marks.
Check the temperature sensor and its wiring for any signs of damage, such as frayed wires or broken connections.
Reconnect any loose or disconnected wiring and ensure that the fuser unit is properly seated and connected.
Power on the copier and see if the error code has cleared. If it hasn't, you may need to replace the fuser unit or the temperature sensor.
If you are not comfortable performing these steps or if the error code persists after attempting to troubleshoot the issue, it is recommended that you contact a professional technician or service provider who is experienced in repairing Canon photocopiers. They will be able to diagnose and fix the problem.
This is such a huge and complicated business machine, I reckon you will need a service call. I can't find the error codes, or C1 and C2. In all my searches for manuals, I have never seen so many for a machine!!
hi if u get error E00000 as main code that's mean the heater problem
u should have to check the hater lamp and the thermal fuse in fixing unit if every things are good this is only malfunction just reset error code.
The problem is it doesn't recognize Java 7. Install Java 6 (latest version) and it will work. You can have both Java 6 and 7 installed at the same time. As well make sure if you are running a 64bit machine you install the 32bit version of Java (so you will have 4 versions installed). Java 7 32 & 64 bit, Java 6 32 & 64 bit. I had the same issue and solved it this way.

E747 from what I remember is the connection cable from either the scanner to the print device, or scanner to the copier. Make sure that none are loose and they are in the correct slots.
Mismatching the cables may result in the error.
Workaround :
E732 code is a Reader communication error.
If the Reader is disconnected from the Printer a E732 code will result. Once the Reader is disconnected the logic on the MAIN-Controller is changed to a "0". The copier is now set up to be a Printer only, and will not recognize the Reader.
To correct this, you must enter service mode, COPIER>OPTION>BODY>W/SCNR and set that to "1". Then you must turn the copier off, then on.
To enter service mode: press "Additional Functions" then "2" and "8" together, then "Additional Functions".
