Question about Televison & Video
Hi sir good day the green light indicator flashing which indicates error detected by processor. now here is my solution on how will you fix the problem. if you are going to do it with your make sure you have proper tools and at least a basic knowledge in repairing. now unplugged the unit then open the back cover to gain access the internal part of the tv. now disconnect the connector wire going to inverter board for back light then turn the tv, if the indicator stays green doesn't blink then all the voltage out put from the power supply is normal the 5v stand by,5v switch, 12v and 24v are present, you have bad inverter board or the back light itself. another way is if you disconnect the connector wire going to inverter ballast board then still light indicator flashing and no PS_ON voltage coming from the main board which switch the power supply to turn on i may say you have bad processor board. make sure no bulging capacitors at the power supply replaced it with the same value a panasonic brand FM or FC series much better with low ESR 105c rating. you can find replacement parts at www.digikey.com . hope this will help you feel free to ask further question good luck.

SOURCE: tv wont turn on green timer light keeps flashing
I dont know for sure but i got a hdtv someone threw away and was doing the same thing and i popped off the back and right where the power cord goes in there was a blown fuse. Which i bought at radio shack for like thirty cents. That was like nine months ago and still works good.

SOURCE: JVC projection TV green timer light comes on, tv turns off
You have listed your set under a category for DLP projection sets, but the problem description sounds more like a CRT based problem. Can you confirm the model number of the unit please?
If it is a CRT based set, the problem is a poor connection at the vertical IC. If you look closely, the single blue line is probably the 3 colors on top of each other. If so, then a resolder of the vertical IC should solve the problem. Once you confirm the model number, I can provide you with additional details and instructions.
Thanks,
Dan

SOURCE: Hi, We have a Toshiba rear
It sounds you need a new Projection Lamp; they usually last for 2000 hours or more. The led blinking is the lamp warm-up period and it fails now, if you replace the lamp be careful very static sensitive and blow the dust out with air while the TV is open. Hope this Helps.

SOURCE: tv comes on, green light flashes several times,
common problem with that model is the backlight inverter, 1 or more of the six transformers may be bad.also check for bad capacitors.the tedious way to check is unplug each and plug in each one at a time but unplug the power from the tv each time you check one or you will get a nice jolt. the one that doesnt light the lamp is bad.or take each transformer off and check the primary and secondary coils if you find one open coil. the transformers cost between $8 and $20 each.it has a substitute part.
