I have a 25 inch Magnavox TV, model number TC7225-C107, that is stuck in hotel mode (skips channels 23-55 and a few more here and there). Is there a way I can get it out of this mode without buying a remote for more than I got the TV for? And if it is some code or something how exactly do I enter the code? Thank you.

MIGHT WORK IF YOU: Turn off tv with remote, that is standby, then turn off tv with switch or unplug from wall. Wait a few minutes until led lights go off on tv. plug tv back in. try pushing vt on remote and power button on tv at same time. If this doesn't work try contacting a local retailer, they always have a list of codes for their salesmen.
sorry, it wont go away, bet ya got it cheap huh(nothing intended by cheap) but the tv hotel mode is telling you that its a special tuner made for just hotels, the only way to get around this is if you can replace the hotel type tuner on the main-board with a normal type tuner, it'll cost more than you paid though.good luck,a friend of mine bought 12 of then at $25 each, boy he thought what a deal, now he's really crying and they didn't tell him,and they won't refund his money
the eprom that holds the stored codes needs to be wiped clean or re-set...unfortunately, unless the original remote is available to get into the menu...it will have to be done manually by a technician. the set needs to be opened, the eprom located, the proper pin-outs located and then proceed with resetting. if the eprom is an older type, then the codes were usually held there by a back up battery or super cap...in which case, you just need to remove the battery or super cap for a couple minutes.
Get a universal remote or go online and order a replacement original remote for your model. Then use the remote to enter the menu, unlock any child locks, make sure the set is in standard cable mode and do an autoprogram.
