Fisher & Paykel Dishdrawer: DD603: Have had motor & rotor assembly replaced - now F-2 code here is goes again. Determined to have husband fix it!! I hope. Company says it is an issue with the bottom drawer not being used enough. NOPE! I have noticed that the rinse agent dispenser for the bottom drawer seems to run out very soon. Wonder if this is the problem. Maybe gumming up things. How do you address fixing this dispenser?

Hi - F2 error code indicates a failure of the rotor/motor or the sensors, the following notes should give you guys something to check and see which of these has failed..

Error Code - F2


Which LED - Delicate LED


Reasons - The motor has not been sensed rotating


Likely Causes

_ Foreign object has jammed the rotor

_ The rotor has failed

_ The hall sensor has failed

_ The electronic controller has failed

from what I'm seeing for the dishwasher, an E1 error means that the door is not properly closed. So, please look at the door of the machine to make sure that nothing is broken or that the dishwasher isn't too full. Thank you.

DS603 fisher paykel motor noise when starting up
The pump and motor for DD603 is the same device. It is a rotor lodged inside a cavity under the drain filter plate. I am assuming the dishdrawer is drained properly and at end of the wash there is no water sitting inside. You need to take the rotor device out from its cavity and check for damage. the check valve in the bottom drawer may be clogged or defective. the two drain hoses are probly connected to become one.

Dishdrawer model DD603 gives fault F2 (Motor). Unit has only been used a few times. What to do? Out of warranty.
Ok this is what you do you need to swap over the motor rotors from top drawer to bottom drawer. check for anything jammming the rotor etc when you take it out. if it works with the other drawers rotor then you need a new motor rotor. cheers
