Auto shutoff Is there any (hopefully simple) way to disable the autoshutoff on my coffeemaker (Hamilton Brewstation)? I find it shuts off before I am finished a pot and I am constantly re-starting it.

I would also like to know if I can disable the automatic shut off. I know it's a safety feature - but I am perfectly capable of turning off my coffee maker and would like the option of doing so when I decide - not the manufacturer!

Like others, the autoi shut off is a pain is the ass. I am perfectly capable of turning it off.

I'd love to find a solution. I just got a black & Decker spacemaker coffee maker and although the features and instruction manual say nothing about an auto shut off, it is shutting off in just 2 hrs.

The only answer posted to the hopefull inquiries about disabling the auto shut off is rediculous. We all know how to turn the coffee maker off sooner than it turning off by itself for crying out loud !!!

Why am i getting a pour water error message on my coffee maker

Found the answer in an Amazon review. Place a small bamboo stick in the water sensor located in the resevoir. The ERR code disappears and you can brew as normal. If you leave the stick in, measure water carefully as there is no auto shutoff.

What does it mean when it says pour water but i have water in it

my brewstation did the same thing. I put the water in the proper area, and it still stated "pour water" so I removed the water, took off the coffee basket, removed the coffee "bucket" and laid the coffee maker on its side, on top of a towel. I came home later that day and tipped it completely upside down (removing all possible water from the system)

To my surprise, some coffee grounds came out with it. Apparently, if any grounds get caught in siphon system, it can jam it shut. Then the system is not able to remove water from the reservoir, and thinks there is no water.

Hope this helps

Parts for Hamilton Beach BrewStation® 12 Cup Coffeemaker With Timer

It's called a tank, not a pot. $9 CDN. Haven't been able to find in US yet. This is very hard to belive considering they make so many small appliances I think HB is not making parts available intentially to get consuners to buy again. Not sure this is smart.
