Question about Kitchen Ranges

Our sleep number bed remote control shows "Er" and nothing we do seems to help. What can we do?

    If this procedure fails, try un-plugging the pump, start the countdown by pressing the up ans down arrows(one side only) and plug in the pump during the countdown. This worked for me.

A code of "Er" indicates a communication failure between the Firmness Control™ System's base unit and the remote. To fix this issue please follow these steps: 1. Make sure that the Firmness Control™ System is properly connected to your outlet and the power cord is securely connected to the base of the Firmness Control™ System. If the Firmness Control™ System is plugged into a surge protector, make sure it is on. If the outlet is wall-switch controlled, check that it is also on.

2. After verifying your Firmness Control™ System has power, you will need to resynchronize the remote to the base unit. The resynchronization steps must be completed within 60 seconds:

  • Unplug the Firmness Control™ System and plug it back in.
  • Press any button to "wake up" the remote.
  • Your Firmness Control™ System should now be free of the ER code; however if this does not solve your issue, please follow these steps:
    • Unplug the Firmness Control™ System and plug it back in.
    • Press any button to "wake up" the remote.
    • Simultaneously press the softer (down) and firmer (up) buttons on the remote. The remote display will count down from 10 to 1, then "--" will appear followed by "C1".
    • After "C1" is displayed, release both buttons.
    • Simultaneously press the softer and firmer buttons again and "1C" will appear.
    • Release the buttons and the proper Sleep Number setting will be displayed.

What is the best way to determine what size bed my dog needs?

First you need to determine how your dog sleeps - this will be very important in your decision making process. If your dog sleeps curled up in a ball, then a nest bed would be your best choice. You should measure your dog while they are sleeping curled up and then add 7 inches to properly determine the length you will need. If your dog prefers to sleep stretched out, then you will need either a standard bed. Measure your dog and add 12 inches to determine what length bed you will need.

I need instructions on operating a remote to Sunbeam,Cal-King, electric mattress pad.

Which model Sunbeam mattress pad do you have? Sunbeam has some of their manuals here: . The electric bedding share a manual. The direct link is .Make sure that you are using the master control for your side of the bed (that's the one closest to the plug for the wall outlet).

You may need to turn on the second control and set it to 0 at night. If you still are having a problem with the heat being uneven, you might need a replacement mattress pad. I know we've replaced several electric blankets or mattress pads due to problems with the control/uneven heat.

Read this procedure to possibly fix the remote:
They also sell replacement remotes.
Zoom in on the picture of the original remote provided on the site (or look at your own) and get the actual remote model number.

or check eBay: search for "(model of the device or the remote) remote", check the 'include description' box. Usually cheaper than the vendors.

i ended buying a new remote control it did have a few more than what i had to get me back to where i needed to be it just did'nt have eveyone of them but than again i bought it at the dollar store am going to check out one of the bigger stores

The ER-480 doesn't have a zero button. It only has numbers 1 through 12. How do you enter codes with zeros? I am trying to tune in a Bush DVD player, but I am having difficulty doing so. Can anyone help? Many Thanks in advance.
