I cannot scan from my HP 6310 All-in one printer. When I try to scan from the scanner by pressing "scan to" it says "No Scan Options" and when I try to scan from the HP Solutions Center it says there is an internal error. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and that didn't help. I tried going to the Destinations file and repairing and that didn't help. I ran the scan diagnostic and it went throught it and said there was a problem to try to uninstall and reinstall. None of this gets me anywhere and I really need to scan documents, please help.

SOURCE: uninstalling driver

start your computer in safe mode and then uninstall the driver and remove from the printer. to go to safe mode pree F8 buttton when you system is booting up. bye

Can't scan- Refer to device documentation to
Try using widows paint. Look in windows accessories off the start program menu. If you open windows paint, look for open file from "Scanner or Camera". Most likely you can get the scanner to work again in Vista. Otherwise...try Vuescan scanner software. I think you can get a free trial period online and it should also work. You'll have to pay for that if you like it.

Trying to scan pics on HP Officejet 7110. Press 'Start Scan,; display on printer shows 'Scanning to Microsoft Outlook' for over one minute. I can hear the machine scanning and see the scan light working....
Nothing in or jamming document feeder tray.
Change the setup to scan to a file, rather than email.
Try a different USB port.
Reboot all.
Reinstall printer/scanner drivers and software.

Scanning with 6310
Press and hold the windows key and press R, when the run menu comes up, write in it: mspaint then click ok to start the program.

aslong as the drivers for your hp are installed you should be able to scan with any program, press file and then from scanner or camera. scan a document with it.
