My Hp Color LaserJet Cm1312nfi MFP prints blurry only when printing in color why?

turn on/off, unplug, plug in2_bing.gif, should reset configs.

take all the paper out, put half as much back in.
check the rollers to make sure no paper or particles are preventing printing

go to applications folder for your computer, dbl click printer icon for make of printer. check settings. print 'test document and clean cartridge heads', this should ensure proper printing formats.

lastly, go to web site of printer model and check site for trouble shooting if this does not work above. HP has an awesome website for this type os trouble shooting

This is nowhere near the solution. I have seen this twice. It occurs when the Magenta and possibly other laser mirror assemblies are misaligned. Disassembling this monster is a monster job. It also means that you must have the Service Manual and great patience and skill, as the manual is not very detailed or thorough.

Clean the Fuser unit and Remove the Wasted Toner from the Drum, that'll definitely fix your problem. To do these, you have to disassemble the Fuser and also the Drum. If you need further help, let me know with more details so that I can give you the instructions on how to do and how to fix it with the easiest possible hints and instructions.

I have the same printer and you have to set the default paper size in the printer itself to legal.

WIl not print correctly

If it is faded, it could be the transfer roller. I've had great success with simply periodically cleaning it, then getting a good printout. See my solution for this already posted: Check out this solution to the HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi Laser Color...

Otherwise, the other issue I had late last year was that it needed a new intermediate transfer belt (part #RM1-4436-000CN). You can find a good deal on one, and the instructions for replacement are on page 156 in the service manual: http://www.feedroller.com/Store/Service%20Manual/HP-CLJ-CM1312-MFP-Manual.pdf
It's not the hardest replacement ever, but needs 2-3 hours depending on skill, and a little patience.

MY HP LASER JET CM1312nfi MFP NO LONGER PRINT ALL THE LETTERS ON THE PAGE. WHEN USING COLOUR IT DAZZLES THE EYES TO LOOK AT IT. WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THE PRBLEM

Do the color calibration.. chk the print quality, if yes.. end.
If no better to submit in service center ifs comes under major issue..

You should update your printers firmware and reload both Mac and windows drivers for the same printer. I look at this as more of a driver problem. Firmware and drivers can be located here. If problem persists, try to approach this instance by using the elimination method. remove pc from network, test with only macs connected. then remove macs and test with only PC connected. then finnaly, install this printer directly to pc and test the performance and then directly on one of the macs and test.

Dirty laser unit - needs (careful) cleaning internally.

See ' Printing Weak Magenta', 'Printing Light Magenta' for HP CM1015, HP Color Laserjet 1600, 2600, 2605.

Replacing Cartridges on the HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfi

Yes, you will replace the whole cartridge. Open the front door and pull out the cartridge drawer. Grab the handle for the magenta and pull it straight up. There should be directions in the box.
