Three red light error

it's scaler chip is damaged, if it shows the e74 error. but if it isnt, your scaler chip is somehow getting damaged by overheating. my advice is to buy a intercooler.

Then stay it away form any heat then have it have some space but dont over heat it then it will have three flashing lights and then if it has three flashing lights then you cant play anymore.

this might be a hardware failure. try turning it off then back, or try keeping a fan on it when you play on and if that doesn't work call 1800myxbox there you'll find step by step instructions to send it down to texas and get it fixed. if that happens three times you will recieve a brand new xbox 360 that has that problem fixed. also keep in mind to keep your hard drive before you send it to be fixed. i really hope this helps with your problem

heres a tempary fix wrap your xbox in a towel and turn it on for 15 minuits and then try playing

but you really need to send it to microsoft

if its three its broken xbox can fix it for free you have to phone and then they will tell you and if its really bad u can send it to them

microsoft put out 360 consols flawed when they heat up the mother board flexes and the processor comes away from the mother board it has somthing 2 do with the brackets they used but u can buy a kit on e bay that u can do urself i got mine 4 £2.50 itis a new bracket with replacment screws and springsthat stops the board moving therfor holding the processor in place it also comes with instructions and they e mail a video showing how 2 do it i havnt done mine yet im waiting 4 the parts

Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX. All XBox360 consoles have a 3-year limited warranty protecting against the 3 red lights. Since the XBox360 hasn't even been out for three years yet, yours should still be under warranty and will be replaced for free.

It may actually be that your power box has failed or died. If so than you cant do anything really.Sorry.

take the hardrive off. then ur xbox will play BUT u gotta repair the hardrive and u cant go on xbox live or save games. Good luck Tay206
