I have a problem with my Asus Eee PC 1001PX connecting to internet. The problem is that when I charge the battery of my netbook, the internet instantly disconnects itself and reconnects itself after a while and then again disconnects itself. On the other hand, I can surf the web without any problem when it's not charging. And it's not a wireless connection, as I connect the netbook to internet via LAN. So I really can't figure the problem here, as I've tried to look everywhere for a solution. Thanks for any help.

SOURCE: Asus Eee PC wireless connection pending

You may be choosing the wrong encryption method. For instance your entering your wireless key (WEP) and you have it set on (PSA, WPA). Make sure those settings match. Also you may have an IP conflict which is resolved by setting up a static ip. If the encryption methods match and you need help with a static IP let me know

SOURCE: ASUS keyboard delete key won't work

are you sure that the key is seated properly on the board? This can easily be fixed by popping it off and checking to see if the 1, or 2, plastic like springs are connect to the key and the board.

SOURCE: Asus eee pc 900a wireless connection not working

I've experienced the same problem with my ASUS netbook. Uninstall the wireless hard - remove hardware in control panel, reboot the machine and allow it to auto find the adapter again. This should correct it. If there are still problems verify that you have the most current driver for the wireless adapter, either from Asus, or the wireless adapter chipset manufacturer (i.e. Intel, broadcomm, etc.)

SOURCE: problem with internet connection

Check both your router and your PC configurations. Follow the manufacturer's directions for configuring your router and PC for WiFi access.

Cant connect my Asus eec pc 1001px net book to a wireless network. Window says were connected but wont connect

In this case, "connected" means that it can "talk" to the wireless router.

But, it does not mean that you have "authenticated" to the router, by entering an SSID and a password.
