I have Win XP SP1. I installed the driver of the player. The computer recognises it now, so i installed the Manager too. But this time the manager is not starting up. It gives this eror message: 'System Error &H8007007E (-2147024770)' Any idea anybody??? When I installed XP before it worked fine. What can be the problem??? Ohh, and sometimes when its cold my players memory erases itself somehow.Let me know is someone has the same problem. Holla' CHRIS.tal

I'm guessing the full error is "System Error &H8007007E (-214024770). The specified module could not be found." Its missing some file. I suggest you try installing it again http://www.mpmaneurope.com/download.aspx?file_id=192 it wasn't update in a while, but you can try. could be that its not compatible with sp1, or at least part of it. can you live without it? ;]

indicates a bug in the win xp driver for the printer
win xp is no longer supported by Microsoft to fix the bug
try going to the cannon web page , finding a down load for your unit suitable for win xp and download it from there

Sandisk micro 2 gb not recognised on win xp laptop works on other machines. pls help

Sometimes windows XP doesn't install the driver to recognize your USB ports. For example, a fresh install of XP does not contain any driver for sound or graphics. The best way is to update your windows XP up to Service Pack 3 by installing SP1 and SP2... etc, it will take a looooooooong time, but your PC would be better.
To check whether or not you have any USB drivers install just go to control panel and then device manager. Look for Universal Serial Bus (USB)

MPMan MP F35 T6

This player, oddly enough, only works with regular XP/SP1 - probably the only mp3 player in existence that is like that. I think the company's phrasing of the problem is quite humorous:

If you have WindowsXP SP2, we recommend that you go back to Windows XP SP1 before Microsoft solves the problem.
