I also have been searching for a manual for the LXA 600 Amp. Jensen's website was no help. I will let you know if I find something. Have you had any luck?
ok remote does not mean the clicker to ur tv its the wire that leads from the back of ur deck to the amp itself to tell the amp when its cool to turn on n off either blue or blue n white is the remote wire on the back of ur sterio run it to remote term. on amp n c what happens
1. power connection to the battery/amp 2. make sure you have a remote line radio/amp 3. make sure you have rca's radio/amp 4. make sure you have a ground amp/car frame ( scratch paint away for good contact) 5. make sure the speakers are connected to the radio.
if all is ok then check the inline fuse from the hot wire from the battery is not blown and the fuse on the amp is not blown.if so replace them. with the proper amp fuse.
If the light is all that is on then it will be fine. It would take days to weeks for it to kill todays car batteries. If the amp is drawing more power than just that though, I would move the remote wire to the ignition or the headunit, because the fusebox is getting constant power to tell the amp to stay on.
well i will let you know now that 400 watts running into two subs like that will never match. You will want to run only one sub or get a bigger amp. But for that amp a standard 6 gauge power wire will be sufficient to run it. The ground wire about 4 gauge is good.
If it only worked for about a month, then you probably did not get your
speaker load right. Check that out before you repair the amp and
put it back in. Good luck.
