I got a Samsung HCL4715W from a neighbor and did not get the remote. I turned the TV on and the red lamp did not come on but when I pushed the menu button all three lit up. It also looks like it is not focussed. What is the problem or where should I start first? Thanks, Ron

Thanks for the response. I plugged in a dvd player for an input and all three lights came on and stayed on. there is a black area in the middle of the screen and it still looks like it has a convergance issue in the area around the black area in the center of the screen and if I go to the menu it also shows three separate images. I attempted to go to convergance in the menu but it said I needed the remote to set convergances manually. Is there a way to do that without the remote?
