Hello, I have recently bought a Leica Digilux 1 but I can't use it since it always marks "Memory Card Error". I have tried with three different memory cards and that sign keeps on appearing. Do you know how can I fix this problem? I think it is not the memory card because I have used two of thems with a Canon camera and they work well. Thanks in advance for your help.

First make sure that any pics on the cards are safely downloaded to your computer. To get the cards to work in the Leica, you must format them in the camera. This will erase them and set them for the operating system of the camera.

I have a Leica Digilux, but could not fine it anywhere on tghe dealer spots. I need a memory card for it and its difficult to get locally. The size is larger than the regular cameras.

Amazon could be a help:
http://www.amazon.com/MEMORY-Leica-DIGILUX-Digital-Camera/dp/B000Y06WXA

It may depend on what your exact camera model is. You have only stated Leica Digilux.
There is the Leica Digilux 1, Leica Digilux 2, Leica Digilux 3, Leica Digilux 4, and the Leica Digilux 5. Most seem to take the SD HC (the SD card may work as well) card:

If your camera is a Leica Digilux 1, then the cards it can take are: Secure Digital Card and Multi Media Card
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leica_Digilux_1

If you have an earlier camera, then it could take some other kind such as the Compact Flash Card, although I did not find such a note anywhere.

I have a Leica D-LUX 3. There is a an error message that the memory card is full, however, there are no pictures to delete from the card. When I go to review pictures, I get this error message: "No...

You should remove the memory card, plug it in to a card reader on a computer, and copy any photos off of it, then delete them (or reformat the card). There may be photos on the card (in a different folder, or in an unreadable format for the camera) that may make the camera think that there are both 0 photos on the card as well as 0 space left on the card.

When I turn on my Leica digilux-2, the monitor shows a photo from the SD card, but does not pick up anything else. The viewfinder is black.

Odd this has been here five months w/o a response. Apparently you describe a "burned out CCD", the famous "sensor problem", which is frequently mentioned whenever the Digilux 2 is being discussed. It's too bad because I think otherwise it is a wonderful camera. Contact Leica in whatever country you live and see what the current policy is re: repair, and whether the company will stand behind their product. There appears to have been positive response. Good luck.

Best make and largest size of sd card for the leica digilux 2

The Digilux 2 will work with any SD card, but bear in mind that SD cards max out at 2GB. Larger cards are actually SDHC cards and will not work in the Digilux 2.

Does the menu in the camera work?
You may need to activate some Postview function in the menu. If the camera takes pictures, you should be able to view them in playback mode. There could also be a Preview mode, which requires pressing OK before storing pictures. Preview/Postview should cancel each other though...
