Whenever I take a picture my flash setting always defaults back to no flash. This cannot be changed with the button, the only way for me to take another picture with the flash, or changed settings is to turn the camera off and on again.

please bring the picture to be deleted in preview.Now press delete button which looks like a dustbin.You will be asked for confirmation. Select yes and press ok.
the format of the card may not be recognised because either the terminals are in need of cleaning or the card needs to be formatted, this option should be in the camera settings or you can format it in a pc card reader.
If your computer is Win ME/2000/XP/Vista
The CD is not needed to upload images
Windows will do it all by its self.

i just bought the same camera and it wouldn't work with the cd either. i had to make sure that on the camera it was set to "pc" and that "mass storage" was selected before plugging the camera into my pc. hope this helps.
