I HAVE A FIVE YEAR OLD WHIRLPOOL DUET WASHER AND I KEEP GETTING A F-5 CODE. CAN YOU HELP ME. I COULD NOT FIND THAT CODE IN THE MANUAL THANKS

Here is what the F5 error code is, i copied and pasted this from my duet (online) service manual

F/05
Water temp. sensor failure

if during the water heating step in wash cycle,the water temp. sensor (NTC) value is out of range,or heating circuit has failed,the "F/05" error code will be displayed

- Check the water temp.sensor,heat element,and element relay.

-Check connections to the sensor,heating element, and relay

So what that says is the water heated too high of a temp. and the thermostat is bad, the heating relay on the control board is bad,or heat element is shorted and heating when not supposed to.
