SOURCE: Printer does not take paper from the tray
Try this Take out paper tray. Remove Toner cartridge Stand printer on its back so that you can see the pick up wheels/roller They should/could be on a removable rod/axle Pop it out and give a gentle rough up with a fine emery/nail board Re assemble - make sure the rod/axle is snapped it tight and correctly linked up re plug in - try it out. Failing that check the makers tech help on the web site.

I had the same problem after refilling with different brand of toner. It turned out that the mixed toners were not compatible. I emptied the cartridge and vacuumed ut all the old toner and refilled with new toner and it worked perfectly.
The moral of the story is athat all refill toners are not the same.

May be it is your toner problem try toclesan it nd also change it.
If roblem still occurs then servece your printer and clean its pars with iso propile.

MP - is the manual tray on the side. Sometime I've had trouble with switch that locates the paper on the side. Joggling the paper has helped me.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your printer. The tray is recessed during packing to reduce packing space for shipping. When you pull out your paper tray for use for the first time it expands to accommodate the paper. It can be collapsed by pushing the little blue tabs that say press here to make it flush again but you would only need to do this if you were using a non standard paper size.
