NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.

Please help my side by side ge fridge freezer is tripping our power I have had it for 2 year we moved houses I left it unplugged for three days in our garage then moved it into the house and plugged it in...

Check to make sure that in the process of moving a "hot" wire under the refrigerator did not come loose and now is contacting a metal part of unit.

U have a classic short circuit which accounts for the breaker popping immediately. It is not a short in the compressor because that would have popped the self resetting clixon and not the house breaker.

With the unit unplugged remove the machine compartment and visually inspect for and burnt marks or frayed wiring. if non is seen, remove the wiring connectors from one component at a time and re test by plugging the unit back in. This will help you isolate the issue hopefully.
The machine compartment is on the back and the power cord is attached behind it. It is usually connected with 1/4" screws so a socket or nut driver will help you gain access.

Rcd tripping

Either the start relay in the compressor is grounding electrically or the defrost heater is (most likely start relay). To replace this yourself is difficult as it requires technical knowledge. If you are located in California, bay area I could help you personally

Fridge freezer tripping rcd

Ensure it fully dries out before trying it again. Water in the electrics will throw your trip instantly. If it's dry now, and you are having the same problem. check the electrics for a short circuit or earth fault. Usually a compressor earth fault is to blame.

might want to unplug everything and let it sit for a half hour and try to plug everything back in. Try a different outlet maybe.

How do you change out a maytag ice maker model number MFI2568AEQ? Have everything apart but wireing harnes iswholding it in and cant get my fingers in to seperate it

If you are trying to unplug the harness from the ice maker housing, take a small screwdriver and press in on the tab that locks the harness into the ice maker. If you are trying to remove the harness from the back or side wall, there is a small tab on the side of the plug that needs to be pulled out to unlock it.

Our freezer has been running nonstop to refreeze everything and now it is blowing warm air. What do we do? Unplug for a break or just shut the door?

Have u checked the thermostat setting? Set it as u usually do and if indeed the door was left open, then try shutting it down for(unplug) 10-12 Hrs and see if behaves normally after wards(set the thermostat too).

If not then have the thermostat replaced.....sodeep

Freezer is not freezing on Maytag MZD2766GES

When you lay a refrigerator on its side oil from the compressor can seep out into the tubing and cause a restriction in the sealed system. This will cause only a small amount of cooling to occur and needs a licensed technician to fix it.
