Do you mean Durabrand CD-968
If you do then this CD player will only play NORMAL music CDs (or CD-R CDs). Not MP3 format
This set will not play CD-RW encoded discs.
the cds you put in there are not compatible to the player.if it had been playing the same cds then it is time to take your set to a tech for repair it can be your memory chip or your lens.good luck.
I am unable to understand your problem clearly. Does it play 2 CDs and then stops reading the CDs or does it play only 2 specific Cds? If it plays some Cds and not others, then it is possible that the lens has to be replaced. But before that, try cleaning the lens. Use a good quality CD lens Cleaner CD.
see if it can still boot the cd , put in a windows cd go into the bios and set the cd as boot device in boot order. save and exit with cd in drive you will get a prompt at boot to press any key to boot cd do this and let it run until the next prompt screen then exit . if it never will boot the cd , time to replace drive.
try to play a song from original cds.
maybe you brunt it in mp3 file, or its a different format. try to burn your song to cd-r.
if still, try to use nero to burner..
if it wont play your original cds and burnt cds, then the optical lens or the board is broken.
hope I helped you.
in my side i already encountered that problem.this is what eve done,i'm just clean the lens with cotton and one drop of alcohol, after cleaning, its work.....just follow what i'm doing....
