I'm sorry that the Camera is vibrating. Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
This should resolve the issue. Thanks for understanding.
Have you tried these steps?
Please give me some more time. I will get the service manual of the Camera which will help you to open the Camera.
Please bear with me. I'm still checking the service manual
I'm sorry; I was not able to find the exact service manual for DSCT500. However, I got DSCT100. The steps are same for both Cameras. Please Click hear to download the same.

I would add another model, DSC-T200 in above list.
Now let me know how may I help you to fix this issue?

Let me know if you are handy and can take apart camera to proceed further.

I don't know how you can help me fix the problem of vibrating, that is why I asked. Can you tell me without me sending my camera out to Sony and not having one to use in the meantime. It seems to be a regular problem with ALL the Cybershots. If you know of a way I can do this I would appreciate any help
cann try
I have the camera, a small tool kit and am ready when you are.
i am sorry, i cannot see thread of my emails to you and do not know if you received my reply.
I have smalll screwdrivers and am okay to open camera when you have the time. Just would like to know if you want to do it now or at a different time. I would like to either fix camera or do other work in home. Please let me know when you can do this. thank you
is there any way i can get help in stopping the vibrating of my SONY Cybershot,DSC-T-500 camera. The first expert said, "yes, add another style to the ones that are vibrating" after I added some other SONY cameras to my first request since SONY was fixing one of their cameras out of warranty with the identical problem.. Then I was asked if I could take the camera apart. I wrote "yes" and now am sitting at my computer and just want help if at all possible. Please someone help me now! Everytime I type in some info, your site brings up the page that asks me to pay, which I already did and to click on "Get solution". I just would appreciate some assistance in how to open the camera, as the first person asked me if I could, and want to move on to other things. Thank you for any help you can provide. A
wondering if you are on the same time zone as I am and if you can help me in the next few hours. If not, I will try someone else. thnak you
I would need to know how to open camera with the screwdriver first before getting to the ss unit from the lens. Can you tell me if what photo #2 shows is the part to replace, the one on the left? thank you for your reply and photos, hope it helps once I am inside the camera. A
i have unscrewed 7 screws, 4 from the sides, 3 from the bottom. The body can release, except for the top of the camera. Cannot figure out how to disconnect the top to open the camera fully
I have removed 7 screws from the camera. There seems to be a problem in that the top part of the camera will not de-assemble. There is something holding it in placeand it will not separate. I see a tiny hole on top with a silver rod in it. No way to unscrew it, the top of the silver rod is plain. How can I open the camera up? Are you saying that I will have to use the camera without the stabilizer for telescopic photos, or this will fix it? What is a CCD? Thank you Arlene
i cannot even deassemble the camera. If I cannot open the camera, which I believe I need to do, I cannot do anything you suggested. Is there another way to get into the camera, or can you tell me how to OPEN it up please
are you saying it is just the two screws on the OUTSIDE of the bottom of the camera? Don't think that opens it up
Thank you for trying. I was at my computer for more then 7 hours today with this site and then with SONY. I finally emailed SONY and they helped me fix the problem. If it is not corrected totally, which I will find out in the next week, I will try fixya again. Thanks anyway. Appreciate you trying. AG
